The Pins on my front landing gear do not come out!?! :h and I tug pretty hard on them to release the legs ... they're spring loaded.
Yes only one outlet for the vac, and the hose is really heavy !?!?
It would be very simple to add another outlet in the basement area. When you open the basement door there is a sliding panel to your left. (one screw in the center holds mine in place).
Just remove the screw and slide it open. In there you will find the inverter, the Central Vac (this is where you clean it out), and on the far side your heater. The "plumbing" for the vac is easily accessable, so all you would really need is an outlet like the one inside, and a suitable place to mount it. Wiring up the outlet "should be" fairly simple since the vac is right there as well.
Oh ... make sure the bag is installed in the vac before using it. Mine was just laying in there ... but fortunately I checked before using it !!
