Ok everyone I need your help / suggestions / advice:
I want to replace my two 12V batteries with four 6V batteries (two at the very least) but as most of you know the existing battery compartment is small and only can fit two 12V batteries (and no the 6v batteries are too tall and too wide to fit into the existing battery trays).
My long-term plan is to eventually, if not now, get four 6V batteries to fit for an inverter and/or installation of solar panels.
So the question is any ideas where I might find extra room and/or how can I fit four 6V batteries into the Designer? Remember I have the built-in generator so the front compartment is out and the pass-thru compartment is about 2/3 full...any ideas? suggestions? advice?
