If you could put some pics up offsite somewhere I'm sure a few of us handy guys would appreciate it. If there's an issues I would rather fix it prior to a failure.
On the hoses, I will say this. I had the same thing happen at home. After working around the toilet I noticed and little leak on the supply valve. I thought it was a bad valve, but it ended up being a loose fitting. I know I tightened it when I installed the new toilet. I believe the will loosen up with heat/cool cycles, but also the gasket will shrink somewhat and loosen the connection. Thanks for pointing it out though. It's something we should all probably check yearly.
