I also had a problem with those caps... not the beauty caps, but the grease caps. Wore out the bearings and they had to be replaced. I checked it after our first trip and it was that bad. Must have fallen off at the factory and ruined the bearings on the trip down. Had them replaced and a new cap. 2000 miles later I had to retighten the bearings.

It's a good idea for everyone to check their wheels and endplay. A bottle jack is all you need and just check one wheel at a time.
