Anybody know how thick the floor is in our slideouts. I want to put a couple of screws in the floor but don't want them to be to long. I want to be able to strap down our chairs at the kitchen table.
2008 Designer 35 RLSA
We bungee the legs of 2 chairs together and none of them have ever moved...
Hmmm ... we don't tie ours down at all and they've never moved !?!?

I blame this on the wife :) we never used to tie them down but one day she decided to tie both together while traveling...all of this going on while we have recently left the coffee pot on the counter next to the stovetop while traveling and has never moved
Lloyd,
Let me know how the Bigfoot thing goes and if they say the frame of the Designer can handle the Bigfoot system...we have the generator in front also and would like to know how that goes for you. Also does the alumaguard metal wrap mean the awning is completely covered when rolled up? - petekerwienExplorerWood or wallpaper?

Has anyone repaired some holes in the walls of your Jayco Designer and how. I have 6 that are a dime size. It is a 2002 designer and factory has no walls or covering. Thanks
Interior or exterior holes? I'm assuming interior. - cruzExplorer

It is, but you will have to cut your existing awning and have it sewn on.
Thank you. I assume the other option is to replace the whole piece of fabric with a new one? - loydtExplorerIt is, but you will have to cut your existing awning and have it sewn on.

Still waiting to hear back from Bigfoot on my install. They requested some pictures of my fron landing gear area in relation to my generator box in the front. I wanna make sure it will work 100% before I take the plunge.
Also, ordered a new fabric for my main awning today. I am soooo tired of mine getting filthy so I got one with the "alumaguard" metal wrap. It took a lot of emailing back and forth with my dealer and Carefree to get the exact part number. If anybody else wants to replace theirs, just let me know and I will post that info.
Is it possible to buy just the aluminum guard? - loydtExplorerStill waiting to hear back from Bigfoot on my install. They requested some pictures of my fron landing gear area in relation to my generator box in the front. I wanna make sure it will work 100% before I take the plunge.
