- TravlingmanExplorer IIThe Jayco website is finally showing the Legacy model now. No pics yet, but it is 4 seasons, great insulation ratings. I priced one like I would like, but can't see 6 figures for it.:E

- L_MMusicExplorerYes, I definitely want to know. The mold that grows there is gross -- I've sprayed it with the household bleach cleaners (spray, roll up for two hours and unroll) and it cleans up nicely, but it comes back so quickly (even when rolled up!)
- loydtExplorerOk, Who else besides me is sick of their main awning getting filthy even when rolled up??
I am in the process of pricing up the "uniguard" option for mine. It is basically the metal wrap that it should have come standard with!!
Also going to look into adding the full case to all my slide out awnings to keep that fabric from dry rotting over time.
I will let you know what kind of numbers I get for anyone else interested. - TravlingmanExplorer II

Ok maybe you guys missed a question before...
Have any of you replaced the thermostat in the 35RLTS Designer with a programmbale thermostat? Any problems replacing the old T-Stat?
Eric, do you mean something different than the one you referred to in our last topic? Digital Thermostat
Funny, We still go back to the original thread now and again to verify some of our notes..35RLTS....It's Home
I put the Hunter in my last rig, looking at going with a remote this time. Looked at this one by Coleman. Saw it last week in a Camping World, had it for $69, on clearance. Was going to get it, when I saw box had been opened and some of the wires had been cut. I like the remote to get the thermostat away from the door and more where we are at. We have plexiglass on door and the temperature where the thermostat is varies alot. - happycampersweaExplorer

Sent you a PM Loyd...
One other idea for the future is we have a little 15" LCD TV in our bedroom at home...want to try and see if I can mount that in the front compartment on a swing-out arm so we can watch the college football games outside...just have to figure out how to run the cable lines and/or antenna lines to this so I can take advantage of when maybe you can watch it after Febtuary with just rabbit ears?hooked up to cable TV - M_GO_BLUE1ExplorerSent you a PM Loyd...

Has anyone put an electrical outlet in their front compartment??
Yes, I did. Look behind the panel where the inverter and central vacuum plug up. I plugged up a surge strip there, like you use for a computer, and mounted it up inside the front compartment. The inverter and converter cord are plenty long enough to reach and you have plenty of outlets to spare. I added a fridge and TV to my basement with a satellite hook up, as well. I will try to post a pic.
It has never tripped a breaker.
Thank you Loyd for that idea...and I would love to see a picture when you get a chance! - M_GO_BLUE1Explorer

Has anyone installed a Hughes Autoformer in a '09 Designer 35RLTS?
If so, would you please provide a wiring diagram and/or pictures of the installation.
I decided to go with a portable 50A Surge Guard...only thing with this is I'm not protected when the generator is running so I'm going to buy some portable plug-in surge protectors for the big ticket items...
