My retirement date is August 1, so I too will be giving formal notice soon. Our 10-year plan has materialized!!!
House is sold, we'll be living in the 5'er soon. Our son is buying the house, so it wasn't necessary to get rid of every last thing, some things we are storing here for now.
We just purchased a Yamaha Majesty 400cc scooter. Weight 467 lbs. It IS going with us, either on the front end of TV ('08 Silverado 3500 dually diesel) or on back end of the Jayco (35RLTS) I know neither is a good idea, but like I said, the scoot IS going! Thoughts on which is the lesser evil?
Wow...not a third option huh? :h
If those were my only two choices I would say front of the TV would be my choice assuming it does not impair my vision out the front windshield nor does it impair the lights/turn signals... - M_GO_BLUE1ExplorerQuick question...while I know most if not all of us have the 15K AC unit in the living area - for those of you who have the second AC in the bedroom what size is that? (13.5K?)

eaherrmann,
Can the ends of the Patty O Shade be anchored to the ground?
Blue, yes. We use dog tie downs w/bungie cords in each corner. Does a great job keeping sun/rain out of our eyes and holds the awning in place in a pretty stiff wind. Undo the bungies and the screen goes up with the awning. - M_GO_BLUE1Explorereaherrmann,

I am curious as to what exactly that notice says regarding the lino? I have a annoying creak in my floor in the kitchen right around the center of it. I have always assumed it was just the edges of the plywood sub-floor rubbing.
We also have that annoying squeak in the kitchen. I'd really like to get under that lino to see what's up...
