- CHV_FRKExplorerDid the pin box swing into it, or did the underside of the trailer come down on it? I definately feel you on the door. I had not properly secured the fridge and the freezer door swung like a madman and put a huge dent in the upper cabinetry.
I think someone had posted in the other thread about the washer and having the valve open. It sounds like someone else may have experienced the same thing. Maybe there is a practical way to tie the two grey tanks together with a balance tube for you guys with washers. - cruzExplorer

Not right ... Get that looked at and fixed. !!!
Also sounds like you need "a little more clearance" between truck rails and 5'r !!! depending on how level you're towing, might need to raise the hitch AND the 5'r one notch !!
CRUZ - BReed0715ExplorerOk... we picked up are 35RLTS on the 14th and had a great trip back to Texas. We only have a few problems that need to be addressed but I wanted to check to see if any of you were experiencing the same problems. The main issue is that the dining room slide is staining the carpet black and I'm not sure why. Can anyone shed some light on this? A few other lessons learned on my part was that the Washer/Dryer uses anywhere from 7 to 18 gallons of water, make sure the grey water valve is open or it will flood the bathroom. The cabinet door under the TV may have come open during transit (or my wife didn't close it all the way) and when we opened the slide it got hung on the handle and broke the door. and the worst was that dented the back bed rail of my truck when I was pulling it into my property and dented under the 5th wheel section... Minor but none the less, a lesson well learned. Other than all of that we love it.

- CHV_FRKExplorerOh my... Scold me for not using a curse word. Either you can spank me or I suppose you could just kick me off. Maybe just kick us all off for having a discussion on issues with a specific type of fifth wheel?
If you have a suggestion for where these issues or topics are more appropiate maybe you could suggest it to us and I'm sure we would be glad to post there.
I know I wouldn't have any problems with that.
I apoligize for being frustrated, maybe if I was able to delete some things I would feel better.

LOWLY FORUM USER - sirdrakejrExplorerOne other thing. When you post pictures, keep them under a width of 640. After the JPG in the list use a space and then width=640 to do that. Otherwise the page is too wide to read for most people's screen. I wont edit them I will delete that post from here on. If you need help, PM me BEFORE you post a picture.
Frank - sirdrakejrExplorerEVERYONE READ THIS !!
Okay, pay attention!! I will NOT edit posts. I will NOT stand for the type of language or substitution used by CHV FRK !! Not now, not ever! I am leaving it so you know what I mean. This is still a family oriented site. ACT LIKE IT!
I also will not allow repeating complete posts as quotes and pictures when just answering someone by name will do. The server uses space for every post and repeating is a waste. That is one reason why I closed the first thread. I should close this since it refers to a thread I have closed.
YOU make the choice. If you want this to remain open, act and type as adults without resorting to bad language. Stay ON TOPIC and it will remain. No more warnings. I have too many threads to read to worry about hurting feeling on this one. If you have any questions or think I am being to rigid, PM ADMIN and ask.

Regarding winterizing...
DH is going to insulate the storage compartment doors. Last year we also bought foam pipe insulation and covered the heat tape and waterhose, wrapped hosebib with the foam & electrical tape. In the really cold weather always leave a water tap running. Also thinking about a small electric heater in storage compartment. When we were in Alberta noticed some of the campers had wrapped the hose bib with fiberglas insulation & plastic sheeting and then placed a plastic pail over that. We did NOT leave out the sewer line, only connected it when we needed to dump, didn't want to risk a frozen sewer line.
Happy Camping, Sharon - CHV_FRKExplorerMan I am about to have a seizure! I just spent and hour typing up the instructions for the exterior venting....Pictures and all. Spell check crashed and corrupted the file. Good to know this is a brand new MOTHERF%&*)N computer that I paid $1500 for. Why does this always happen to me???? I always seem to have to copy it to 2 or 3 other programs or inevitably it will crash.
Maybe in about a week I'll cool off enough to type it up again. - cruzExplorer

I do have the Morryde suspension package. I will have to get my dealer to do it for me when I take it there next. Thanks for the comments.
My dealer originally told me the MorRyde was in a fixed position and could not be changed !! MorRyde is the one that informed me otherwise! :h
When I took mine in I had them adjust the brakes while the unit was on the lift. (recommended after first 500 miles).
BTW ... 2 hours of straight labor to do the lift. I think it was a total of 10 bolts per side to remove and re-install. Don't let 'em charge you for more !!
