I was thinking out loud for the big walk-thru compartment since my front compartment has the generator but a light above the generator in the very front compartment sounds like an idea to me (mechanically inclined I am not)...

I installed an electrical power strip as well as an additional satellite connection in my basement for my small TV and for the basement fridge where I keep all the cold beer. Was real easy to do. As far as the vac outlet, have not gotten the itch for that, yet!

Good point re the vacuum and a/c outlet in the basement, M GO BLUE. It would be handy for those rare occassions when I get ambitious and feel like vacuuming out the truck. I'm also thinking about putting a light in the front storage compartment.
