- sirdrakejrExplorerActually I DO delete repeated quotes in other threads. So don't feel like you are being singled out.
Frank - eaherrmannExplorerOk folks... My letter to Jayco read something like this
"We have recently received our ordered 35RLTS. We noticed a decal by the entry door labeled "Polar Barrier". We can find no reference to this option in any of our documentation or the sales literature. Can you enlighten us?"
I will post their response when I receive it.
The decal looks like this.....
- M_GO_BLUE1ExplorerLike I stated before I never saw te "polar barrier" as an option on the 2008 Designer model 35RLTS because I would of chose it...
- CHV_FRKExplorerOn the Polar Barrier thing I didn't quote something from here I used the quote feature....Like this

The Jayco Designer was tested in 0 degree Fahrenheit (-17°C) weather over an extended
period of time in a controlled environment and all functions of the coach were fully operational.
Testing cannot account for natural elements such as wind or moisture. In actual use, unit may
not perform as well. In addition, outside components are subject to freezing and require steps
to properly insulate. Jayco’s warranty does not cover damage caused by freezing.
I only did it to show I was copying, not quoting something previously stated in this thread. I was also not trying to increase overall thread length and in turn clog the server.
Back to business....Those of you that have this feature, has there been any talk of it being a true 4 season rated 5er? I would assume that there are a lot more RTLSs out there with this. Anyone... - cruzExplorerwow ...:E

As long as you treat all the other messages posted in the forums you "oversee" the same way I don't have a problem with what you do...it's when some of us start feeling like this posting is being singled out is when we start complaining... - sirdrakejrExplorerI edit out "quotes" that are repeats from other places that can be read or have been read in the those other places. I am not "over zealous" .I am trying to keep the amount of server space from being used just for repeats! I made that clear some time ago and it is still true. If you don't want me to "edit", maybe you would prefer me to just delete the posts entirely!?
Frank - sanderson_66ExplorerSorry Folks..."my bad". Upon further playing...our AC fan does change speed with HI/LO range. It seems to be the only setting (AC), where the fan changes speed. I must have had it in another mode...may be time for those bi-focals after all! Ed: We do have a polar barrier sticker on ours. I'm not sure about the passenger seatbelt alarm but will check. Dana: How about the "Readers Digest" version of how to vent the range hood? Thanks.
- cdelv66ExplorerWe ordered a 2009 model since we were a little late in ordering. Anyhow, we went over all the options & standards with the sales rep. and I don't remember anything called "polar barrier". Interesting ...
There were a few changes that I'm aware of from the 2008 to 2009 models:
Previous options of "provincial glazed maple" and "queen bed w/ night stands" are now standard.
Option Deletions: MOR/ryde pin box and exterior entertainment center
Option Additions: King Bed, RV Satellite Kit, Leather recliner chairs, Electric Rear stabilizer Jacks and the MOR/ryde suspension is added to the CVP.
Interior Changes / Enhancements: Changed to hardwood cabinet, upgraded residential Frieze style carpet with high-density padding, New Slate floor vinyl w/ accentuated grout lines, upgraded and redesigned interior decorative light package, New Euro-style glass overhead cabinet inserts in living area, Increased under bed storage capacity with dual ABS oversized storage bins, Eliminated bed lift mechanism, replaced 26" TV w/ 32", Added and overhead cabinet above dinette, Added an adjustable shower head, Changed to a Multi-Media Premium Sound System.
Exterior Changes / Enhancements: Changed to an I-Class structured steel I Beam frame,
New rear cap design w/ integrated bumper and LELD taillights, Store-Galore basement storage, Heated and enclosed Uni-Dock Utility Center, Outdoor Media Center, Changed to 12-gallon water heater, New deluxe graphics package.
Decor: Three Decors - Brick (carry over from 2008), New- Slate and Mocha, New Butter Cream countertop color w/ larger particulates (granite look). - M_GO_BLUE1ExplorerOverzealous moderator at times but oh well...
I never knew the "polar barrier" was an option on the Designer we got...maybe this is new for the 2009 models???
