Designer 35RLTS and Jayco Talk...Thanks Frank!!

Since there does not currently seem to be a Jayco owners forum, Moderator Frank has graciously allowed this thread. It will be for discussing Jayco related questions and comments. Anything not Jayco related will be deleted. Sounds more than fair to me. Thank-you Frank!

    Yeah. The problem is this. There are two turn-down angles at the back of the 5er and on my old Designer, thats where my hitch mounted to. On my new Designer, the rear electric gear are attached to those two turn-down angles.

    Us too, thought I'd save a buck and install my own bike rack. I've seen a rack a gent made to go over his cab that allows him to carry 2 kayaks and 2 bikes, DW says no way.....guess we'll see what she says when I park 'em in the living room for the trip :)

    I just need to know how they installed the hitch for it. I already have a bike rack for a receiver tube type hitch.

    Swagman Bike rack goes into the reciever. Pretty nice...at least it works well.

    Also, if anybody got the bike rack option on theirs I would love some pictures of how Jayco installed the rear hitch in conjunction with the electric stabilizers. I gotta figure out a way to install mine.

    Then I have a short somewhere. I also have an extremely noisy ceiling fan. A terrible hum at any speed. Will have to get them to change that.

    Use a 10" lube plate...have to fit it on their exactly and is a tight fit but will go on

    mine does !!

    Turn any one of the three switches on, and they all light up.

    Not positive, but I thought mine did, at least when I had it on at the main control panel.
