determining pin weight

9680 would be your hitched up total weight on your D/A 2500. Not sure of your GVWR but your most likely a bit over that rating. I also use GVWR but like Jim said many run with RAWR which generally is the rear tire rating x2. That era of 2500 is a little over 6k lbs.
Believe his GVW on the Chevy 2500 is 9200#.......
