I reject your suggestion that DS had "thin skin" if he was offeneded. If a person is put off because of being treated lousy, it sure isn't the victims fault. It's the keyboard bully's fault - a person who probably would never have the guts to say the same thing in person.
If DS decided to leave, it was for good reason.
Although I hope he reconsiders.
