Diesel generator for 5th wheels?
I usually see LP generator options for 5th wheels. I also see people recommend portable gas generators as well. How about diesel generators? I would think that since your tow vehicle is powered by die...

Very underrated as to output,I have a Onan and a Kipor (honda knock off).
The onan is built for rated output in the worst conditions - 24/7/365 . The Kipor can't deliver the rating for more then a couple of minutes before it de-rates or shuts down.The size of the generator in the Onan is triple what the kiponda has got and the engine too,just a massive difference,
Onan is /was a dedicated generator builder for industry,marine ,recreational etc.,and they do it well ,the cost reflects their pride in the product.
Up to you ,but if you buy a Honda or any other recreational unit buy one that is double what you think you need .
