Different Tire Question - I think?
Hi All, Moving from 235/85 R16 to Bridgestone R25 225/75 R16 on our dual axle 5th wheel. Do I also need to change the spare to the new size? Thanks Dan

The LT235/85-16 E is 31.8" tall.
The LT225/75-16 E is 29.4" tall.
As donn says the 235/85 will work fine as a spare tire on a trailer. IMO a spare just gets you to the next tire store/repair facility.
My spare tires on any of my trailers (RV or working) are rarely the same size.
Now if your the type that wants to rotate the spare into axle system then I would use the same size.
