I just read on the RV Travel newsletter to use an RV awning cleaner, wet thoroughly, then roll it up and let sit for several hours, unroll and rinse off. I haven't tried this but it sure makes sense to me. I was ready to try this today since we were rinsing off the slide out awnings and cleaning the roof after returning from a trip, but am out of awning cleaner.
