Disc Brakes Carriage Cameo
I am considering changing over to disc brakes on my 2011 36FWS Cameo. I would appreciate any pro's and con's the forum may have.

- The discs are head and shoulders above even correctly adjusted electric drum brakes. I'd never look at another 5th wheel without disc brakes.

Yes that says it all.- I switched over and will never have another fiver without.
- Did the conversion myself last year and all I can say is WOW what a difference.
Towing 17000 lb fifth wheel and before it was a white knuckle deal coming up to red light intersections or heavy freeway traffic, now I can cruise with ease!!
If your handy with a wrench you can do it in a weekend easily.
Got mine from Kodiak. - after changing to disc brakes I will never ever buy another rv with drum brakes. The auto manufactuers gave up on them a long time ago except in the very low end where they still have drums in the rear, BUT discs in the front. You will love them.
- ZERO cons!!! After your first tow you will wish you had done it sooner!
