Disc brakes

Anyone know any companies that use disc brakes instead of the usually drum style besides drv. Looking for a unit with a total gvwr of 15k.

Thanks
  • I was a hot rod builder for quite a time and I installed disc brake conversions many times. All you really need to know is what type of drum brakes you have meaning Ford Chevy or whatever the installed axel uses and search for the conversion. It's really not all that difficult of a job.
  • Many companies offer them as options. Mostly your higher end 5th wheels will offer or have them as standard equipment. Some companies will include them with options such as 8k axles.

DRV has them with their Mobile and Elite Suites, but the Tradition are standard with drum, disc is an option.

    DRV (Mobile & Elite Standard)
    Lifestyle (option)
    Redwood (option)
    Excel (option)
    New Horizons (option)
    Continental Coach (standard)
    Heartland (option)
Teton homes (electric / air hydraulic option)
  • They are an option on Excel and Lifestyle. I have them on my Carriage and love em! Phillip
