My concern was the 3" back of axle. I thought weight was placed directly below gooseneck ball...not the case per Anderson....Anderson CS stated the design of the hitch, pyramid tube design, spreads the load to all 4 points of where it connects to the bed rails.
So, behind the axle 3" or so is part of the design and is safe to do do. Nice system and design with these options.
Well Andersen better hire a new mechanical engineer, because the current one does not understand the laws of physics.
The effective pin weight is 3" behind the axle in the rear position and 6" in front in the normal position. So you knew more than they do until they confused you with misinformation.
