Distance between wheels very close?? Cedar Creek

My '07 JAYCO has the same set up. I use the adjustable chocks that lay on the ground between tires. My tires are also 235/85R16 Goodyears. I tried to buy a Sailun tire with same specs. Diameter of mounted wheel was a full inch larger than Goodyear.
I always thought closer together would mean less twisting flex in tight turns.

Shouldn't this RV have a sticker on it with original tire size? That would help...

Good luck finding them anywhere especially in that size. Every tire dealer around me that I have asked if they carry Sailun brand tires just look at me funny and say they have never even heard of them.

It may be a non issue. Some friends traded their 09 sprinter tt for a 20012 sprinter, basically the same unit with some updates.
I bought his wheel chocks because the tires were spread too much on the new tt and the block wouldn't expand enough.
On our 5er, I have to tap the block into the tire spacing and then its only part way.
Its just the design I'm guessing and you are probably ok. I would be observant and see if other units are the dame way.

I don't see the problem if there is clearance. The tires wouldn't "fight" each other as much when turning. Could be an advantage.

Our current Freedom Express's axles are just 29" apart so the 14" tires offer insufficient space between each set to use the pair of BAL Standard Tire Locking Chocks I used to use to secure our previous KZ Spree. I've solved this by instead using a pair of rubber tire chocks between each tire set, with each pair secured tightly in place with hardwood spacers. Works like a charm ... pics are in my gallery for anyone interested.

............Measure the distance from center to center between axles ; should be ~33 inches on tandem axles ! Your leaf spring packs should be 25 1\4 inches , eye hole to eye hole , uninstalled . , jf

I have owned two Cedar Creeks and the spacing between tires on both units was less than 2" and I never had a problem. The only issue was that there was no way to upgrade from an ST to LT tires as the LTs were too big to fit and have enough weight rating on the tires.

Same here on my Laredo.

Not a problem in 6 years.
