Distance between wheels very close?? Cedar Creek

Just wondering why you would buy a trailer with a problem like this?

That would likely mean going back to ST tires which as we all know is not a great choice. Would rather have the close spacing with LT tires personally

Normal... With 33" axle spacing you'll only have about 1-1.25" spacing when running 235/85/16 LT tires. Dexter says you need minimum of 1" spacing between tires so your OK. I will be in the exact same boat as soon as I upgrade my 235/80/16 STs to 235/85/16 LTs. I currently have 2-2.25" spacing which will decrease by 1" when I go to LTs

If you want to stablilize the trailer best option out there are JT Strongarms or Steadyfast type stablilizers. No need for the blocks between the tires.

My 2005 CC the wheel spacing is about 1-3/4 inches. Been that way since new with no problems. BTW is that a 34CKTS?

Looking at the photo, while it's difficult to tell for sure, the rear tire appears to be forward of the centerline of the skirt cutout, which would suggest that axle is too far forward. If it turns out to be okay, I can tell you my signature FW does not have much clearance between the tires (although more than yours) and I was unable to use my BAL x-chocks and went with One-Step chocks instead.

Type in '2009 Cedar Creek' in google search and when it loads up select 'images'... It's kinda hard to tell but most of the views I see of your trailer model all look rather close together... I didn't look too hard for a real close up view of your dual tamdems...

I would think just 1-inch clearance is not enough...

That doesn't sound right. Even a little flexing and the tires will hit each other.

Apparently the dealer has just installed new axles. Don't know why. I wish they had not. I would have installed torsion axles. The dealer commented too that the tires were very close.
