Do I have a problem

I have a 09 NuWa Discover America 5th wheel. All has been good except I just noticed a slight movement of the lower left front of the 5er on the roadside under the bedroom slide. When connected to the truck hitch with front jacks up there is a slight 1/8" gap between the lower trim and the main body. When just on the front landing jacks it comes back together tight. Wondering if this is just normal after years of heavy use or if I have a frame structure problem.

    YES you have a problem.....broken wall stud at lower horizontal support

    That sidewall panel forward of bedroom slideout has to be removed and then wall stud(s) reattached to lower horizontal overhang support.

    May have to remove overhang panel and install new 1/2" lag screws thru that horizontal support also. (Install in a 'W' pattern)

    Doesn't look like much flex to me. Make sure the trim screws are tight. The sealant looks a bit aged. You might try a good quality urethane with a good elongation quotient like Bostik 1100. If the gap returns after using the Bostik start looking for another issue. JMHO

    So you are telling me I have to remove the outside fiberglass wall?
    That's just nuts... Not that you are telling me that but what might need to be done. I have posted on NuWa form for more answers.
    Anyway, thanks for replying to my post....

    Had to take mine in to factory in Chanute, KS for sidewall repair.
    SAME Issue.

    I had the same issue on our Cedar Creek, factory repaired it at no cost to us. Good luck on your repair.

    There is a problem only if someone thinks there is a problem. And only because someone thinks there is a problem, then you DO have a problem. Broken stud connector sounds like a problem to me.

    Had the same issue but mine was moving more than yours, the entire wall moved up about 3/8 of an inch when hooked up. Folks in Chanute at Kansas RV Center (old NuWa) fixed it, no problems since.

    Time to call the Kansas RV Center! http://www.kansasrvcenter.com/ They are the old NUWA people. They might fix it for free! Road trip!!!!
