Do I have to use water regulator

I have been using a water regulator on my hose for years. I would love to do away with it and have a normal shower. Do I really need to use a regulator, or is the plumbing in my FW strong enough to ...

The Valterra comes pre-set at 45 PSI.
It is the basic design as the Watts. Watts Watts are preset at 40PSI.
