Maybe I can help clear this up. Your sticker RAWR is with the listed tire. You up the tire capacity you up your RAWR. To get your true axle rating you need to contact the axle manufacturer.
For instance my truck in the sig has a RAWR on the sticker at 6084 (from memory don't quote me), however the axle manufacturer gives somewhere around 11k. As you can see the sticker RAWR is limited by the tires.
As long as you do not go over the tires limit or true axle limit (per manufacturer) you are fine on your RAWR.
What technically cannot change is the GVWR on the sticker, but that is another conversation depending what school of thought you run with.
