I took my FW out for the first time with the new shocks and new air bags. On the way there I had the bags pumped up to 45psi and it rode with the rear a few inches higher and made for a very jerky ride. When I got to the CG, I let the air down to about 7 psi so the wife cold take the truck into town. I left it at that psi when hooking up to come home and the truck was perfectly level and the ride was amazing! I also didn't realize how much I needed new shocks. I went with OEM for $98 on all four corners from Rock Auto. I really don't think there's anything wrong with my suspension.
My only issue now is the FW tows nose high. I have the Mor Ryde Kingpin with the Andersen Ultimate Hitch. I have one more hole left in the Kingpin to adjust the nose down. It looks like the Mor Ryde kingpin makes the nose a little higher, or at least it looks that way. I've never towed with out a Mor Ryde before. Are they worth it? I need the nose down about 3-4 inches and don't really want to do the axle flip.
Anyways, that's the follow up to my first trip out with airbags and new shocks.
