Hi,
Just wondering and thinking ahead.
Or, for example, let's say, you got a spot on a street (for example, in San Diego, you can get a weekend pass to park an RV on the street by the bay), or a great spot by the beach, and you have to go run an errand downtown, where it would not a great place to drag your Fifth Wheel in tight traffic, do you give up your spot at the beach and take your Fifth Wheel anyway, or leave it on the street and just take the truck? Can you leave it without the truck hooked up?
Thanks
WalMart parking was well covered, but......
Think you should Google:
"Parking RVs on streets in San Diego" - or any similar wording!..;)
The *recent* ordinance passed in San Diego prohibits parking RVs on city streets between 2AM and 6AM.
*RESIDENTS* (and their guests) may get three consecutive 24 hr permits (72 hrs) to park on the street on the same block as the residence of the permit holder.
This is pretty standard for all beach communities.
San Diego was one of the last to enact a parking ordinance prohibiting overnight RV parking.
Hint:
BTW - you will also find that overnight RV parking is prohibited (usually by city ordinance) at many WalMarts in/near beach communities - and/or areas used by the "RV homeless" - which applies to numerous So.CA communities, whether close to the beach or not.
