Well now.....mine is a manual awning, in July the brainfart bit me, even knowing some rain was forecast I didn't tilt one side down, something for me should be automatic since I m on the wet side of Oregon. Woke up about 6am to the pounding of rain on the roof, then thought, oh ${+€. The fabric was so weighted down I could barely get out the door. The roller tube was bowed in about 2-3" and this Friday a replacement will be installed along with new fabric and ends. My insurance company has bed a good friend.
