Left the awning out once in all our years of RVing - this summer it filled with water quickly. Not enough pitch, bent the tube and ripped the fabric.
Never again! note that it wasn't gusty or raining heavy until, all of a sudden, a squall hit! We were there.. looking out.. and it was too late.
