Do you own a Forest River product? NHTSA FINES

The fines are for poor/no documentation of what they did to correct the problems not for failure to address them. They failed miserably and will fix it.

How do we know that they corrected problems or did the proper recalls?

Because of a posters suggestion to check the NHTSB web site I found that my awning is under recall and not to use or travel with it. Never heard a word from Forest River about it. It will be 2 years old in July.

Pocket change for Warren Buffet. I'd like to see NHTSA take a good hard look at all of the RV manufacturers. Maybe that's would finally start to shine a bright light onto the shoddy manufacturing methods and shortcuts this industry is known for within our little RV'ing community.
