Both of my Jayco TT's had the RVQ grills that attached to the side of the trailer. Used them all the time, with no ill effects to the side of the camper, or the awning above. You should have a quick connect fitting if your unit came with the grill. My current 5th wheel came with the quick connect propane fitting so I adapted my table top grill to connect to it. It's great to not have to remember to buy the small 1 lb bottles or lug around an extra tank. I made a 12' long hose so I can set the grill where I want it.
