Small Grills

Well, they do have those 'Grill Mats' which might work for your needs..
I haven't used them, no reason to, but friend has, cooked fish etc... and worked fine..
Hope that helps. I'm sure they have small regular grills that would work too.. Just turn the temp up higher to adjust for the grill if needed.

Weber and others make a small cast-iron plancha or griddle that can go over the grill. It works great for pancakes, bacon, eggs, etc.

Agreed, grills are very much uni-taskers.

Blackstone griddle can cook just about anything. I wouldn't be surprised if someone figured out how to make soup and icecream on them.

For a couple, the 17" will to a good job.

If you are a family of 4 or want to cook multiple things at the same time, look at the 22" model. It has two burners with controls, so you can do screaming hot on one side and low and slow on the other.

Our Davey Crocket pellet grill / smoker has been my go-to travel grill for two years now. I love this little grill so much that I bought it's huge big brother, the Jim Bowie for home last summer.

It's an amazing smoker at low temps (150-225) and an incredible grill at higher temps (226-500).

Switched from a grill to a griddle and really enjoy it.

How well does it cook eggs?

It depends on how well you season your cast iron.

I looked at the Davey Crocket but declined when I learned it weighed 68 pounds versus 21 for Blackstone and calls for another additional fuel to carry. Propane is only fuel necessary for small Weber and Blackstone. Cleanup is much simpler with the Blackstone. To each his own.
