- bradley0128ExplorerOn the "towing level" topic, I recently towed from Chicago to NorCal with my front a couple inches high. I surely had uneven tire wear (more in the rear) and ended up losing a tire. Actually, I managed to see the wear spot at a fuel stop before it blew. Wore through tread, steel belts, poly belts, and mostly through the inner lining. America's Tire said it was tread separation, which Goodyear Marathons are known for. AVOID GOODYEAR MARATHONS! I have a 2010 Eclipse Stellar 40TXSG. It is amazing. There are a few minor issues here and there. I've visited the factory and toured it. They were wonderful. My underbelly is not enclosed, but I want it to be. They sold me 32 feet of the corrugated plastic for $110.....a steal! Now I can seal it like I want and make access panels for the important parts.
Here is a question for y'all: Have any of you insulated your underbelly more? It does get chilly in places. My floor is still wood stringers w/ plywood and glass insulation...only 2". Not til 2011 did they start making the floors the same as the walls. I'm thinking of just spraying Large Gap Great Stuff all over the underneath. A kit to do places such as garages, etc is about $650....way too much. I plan to add head blankets to the tanks and pipes before I enclose the underside.
Any input? - tom_cavExploreri think mine was 400 triple axle .orange trailer did the work great job

$800 is so off base I'd be wary of ever going there...Arrow trailer in Ontario was recommended to me by Chris...I think it was around $350. One day turnaround.

Most of the time ocotillo and lucerne valley. where did you have your axles flipped ? .I was quoted $400.
I was quoted "around $800" to flip two axles by El Toro RV.
Where are you guys going to get the axles flipped and what are you paying ? - stellar714Explorer

you said my trailer does not ride level ? why did you not do the axle flip? i had to flip my eclipse to ride level .how far are you off from being level
I really don't want to flip the axles if I don't have to. I originally thought I didn't have enough clarence between the bed and the trailer. I was afraid the trailer would smash my bed. that is why I was going to flip the axles. there is about 5 inches difference front to back
