Does anyone know ?

I tried to search google but I guess I don't have my names or terms correct. Right now I have a 2008 F150 short box with a reese slider hitch, when it was installed I had to buy a no drill frame kit I think it was called which was two plates that secured to the frame of the truck and them the hitch rails to it.

I am looking at buying a new 2014 F150 Short Box does anyone know those plates will fit my new truck or do I have to order another kit to get my hitch transferred to the new truck ?

Thanks Im still a newbie at this only got started last summer.

  • What the model reese hitch?

Just call reese. They will cross reference for you...
  • I thought Reese was closed but they were not and I got a tech on the phone and yes the no drill frame plate can be used on my 2014 so thats good news.
  • I looked at the Etrailer website and if I am reading correctly their C16441 kit fits both years but I will call and check
  • I don't have an answer for you, however if I were you I would go directly to Reese with your question.
