Does anyone make a lower profile 5'er?

The 2 shortest KZ Durango 1500 models are both under 30'.

Yeah, you're looking for a mid-profile. The Crusaders by Prime Time fall in that category.

You may want to look seriously at a Jayco Eagle HT 27.5RLTS also as it's about the same height exterior (141" vs 141") and only 1 foot longer exterior length. Has 3 slides vs 2 which gives a lot more usable floor space room, don't have to move the rear chair so the big slide can come in (that's where the extra foot is), (just turn the chair), gives a lot more counter space in the kitchen and generally negates the need to use the counter top extension which can be in the way, more usable storage space, gives a walk thru bathroom (2 entrances with doors) so no scooching around the end of the bed to get to the bathroom, has table and chairs if you prefer, better TV viewing from everywhere and closer, can have a built in LED fireplace and has a 5000 watt electric heater for heat, keeps kitchen area clear of traffic pattern and cuts dropped food tracking, and a lot more and only for a few thousand $$$ more.

Just wanted to add, don't be taken in by the HT, or Half Ton, designations that the manufacturers use. You will want a minimum 250/2500 size truck.

Sold my 09 Ram Laramie 1500 4x4 and picked up a sweet 07 Ram 2500 SRW Cummins 5.9 4x4 last week. ;)
