Just replaced mine. This is the 3rd light strip. I ordered from Amazon with remote control that allows you to adjust brightness for $25. The remote with plug for light strip and the light strip are separate items about $10-$12 each.
Make SURE you order the one that says for exterior use. It has a waterproof clear covering over diodes. The faulty one I took off that our dealer put on did not have this and was really designed for interior use. It said it had 3M double sided tape and looked like it did, but it didn't stick as well as most 3M double sided tape I have used. I ended up using one drop of Superglue every foot. It's really light and this has worked well so far.
It was only a few dollars more for colored lights but the DW said no colors. Good luck. Keith
