Yeah, lets go back to the simple times. No on-demand 12v water pump, no DSI on any propane appliance, or even an automatic thermostat for the roof A/C. I've had all those simpler setups before, no thanks. Then on our tow vehicles maybe no auto transmission, maybe no starter motor but a hand crank for the Duramax. Just joking, electric awnings have their good points and bad points. But in reality, they are kind of the outgrowth of another change, taller fifth wheels that otherwise require ladders in order to operate a manual awning.
