Just giving you some static. With as hard as it is to find decent places to stay I don't blame you. I was there in 1974. After seeing 4 people killed in 2 days we left. I'm sure it's changed since then, but just not my kind of place..Have a good time and be safe.

No worries. its all good here.

i plan to spend very little time too close. Will go downtown one time only to experience it. I just want to go there for the historical aspect. I plan to do alot of riding away from the masses as I can but still enjoy the area the the environment.

65 ft is limit for me in Texas and will certainly be within range there.

I agree that the terminology is confusing, but check the Good Sam / Woodall's towing laws. One tow vehicle with two trailers is referred to as Triple Towing.

OK... lets clarify. These type of posts regarding towing multiple units seem to have misconceptions. First, tow vehicle(truck), trailer(first tow), trailer(second tow)equals DOUBLE TOWING. Add another trailer(third tow) equals TRIPLE TOWING.

I have seen a number of RVs DOUBLE TOWING, never saw one TRIPLE TOWING. I have only been full time since since 1996, so I may have missed one. Some seem to add the tow vehicle as being "towed".
