If your State allows double towing then there shouldn't be any problem. All the States and Provinces have reciprocity agreements that allow you operate your vehicles in their state or province as long as you are legal in your home state or province.
The OP could cross into Alberta and minimize the time spent in BC.
Don't forget that a trailer over 2000kg (in BC) must have brakes.
