The insurance company will pay if you are drunk, speeding AND over the limit. Will you ever get insurance again????.........Sure, you'll just have to pay through the nose.
Have you ever heard of a (documented) case where someone has paid through the nose higher rates because their *RV* trailer was too heavy ..... has there ever been a case where an insurance company even asked what the weight was.....
Never have I heard of a claim being rejected for being over weight or even paying higher rates as a result. Mini vans are overloaded all the time and end up in accidents in my neck of the woods, have never heard of a claim not being honoured. Lots of internet lore that they are not but I`ve never heard of it being proved anywhere. Overload your TV and trailer all you want and get in an accident. The insurance will pay.
Hence why I added the "drunk and speeding". As long as you pay your premiums the insurance company will honour the agreement they have with you unless you specifically have a clause in it that says if you`re drunk, speeding and overweight they won`t.
