I use a Reese Elite 18k. My 5er is 12,200 and my boat is around 2500 (used to pull a 5000 pound sterndrive).
I'm very happy with my hitch. I know many have a love affair with the B&W. It is a nice hitch, but the one I looked at was significantly heavier and bulkier than my Reese. To some that is a good thing.
