Dropped the fiver today, and how was your day? Part 1

Vehicles are not designed to pull dirt sideways like that. I have broken heavy plowing disks by making a sharp turn with the disks still in the ground. Which is basically what the tow truck driver did with your rig.
He was pulling a whole bunch of weighr that was more than the hitch was designed for.
Just my layman's opinion.
I hope you get taken care of in a fair and timely manner.
