All DRV needed to do was show the Dry Weight and the Net Carrying capacity, then I could have just added the two and optained the GVWR. They chose to keep everything secret. Maybe just to get you to contact them so that they could get your contact information. My preference is to do all of the leg work at my leisure. I won't do business with the way DRV wants it.

Cop out on DRV's part, if you ask me, and they're =far= from alone on this. I'm no coder, but =I= can easily logic out a program that would give you estimated weights on a "build your own" basis. The "brute force and ignorance" method would be to simply take a sample of each model and weigh the damn thing at several stages of construction so they know that it weighs X, but weighs Y when you add a larger fridge, weighs Z when you add washer/dryer and a xxxx watt generator adds another ABC lbs, etc., etc. Could even hoist the pin on a forklift with a scale at each stage to see how =that= changes, too. Again, the engineers have all these numbers in their databases and they know what the moment arms are fore and aft and left and right, so it really shouldn't be hard for a coder to come up with a program to calc all this and put the results into a template to show us. Any bets on whether any of the total-custom RV builders do this on a total custom build?

Shipping weight will vary dramatically with selected options - a generator and a washer/dryer pair or a larger inverter and additional battery bank, for instance. You could check out similar units at a dealer such as RVs for Less and ask what the shipping weight for that particular unit is on the Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin.

Alternately, ask an owner at the SOITC (Suite Owners' International Travel Club) forum.

You'll need a big truck.

If you email one of the factory reps they will respond to you. Call DRV and they should give you that info. The second thing is to go on the Suites Owners Forum. You will need to sign up but it is rather painless. There are folks there who own the unit your inquiring about and you can get some first hand info.

Send an inquiry to DRV asking your questions

If you post this question on the Suites owners website under Prospective owners (you can sign up with little info) www.suitesowners.com. I'm sure one of the Drv owners can direct you to the correct place. This is an independent group of Suites owners who have regional and national rallies for Drv owners.
I just googled 2015 Drv Mobile Suite Memphis spec's, under www.rvguide.com there's all kinds of info, except weight!
