So, some of you are towing up to 2,500 lbs OVER the placard GVW? Sure you're not confusing factory weight with the GVW? AFAIK, the yellow sticker is an actual, out the door weight for =that= particular unit, with specifications on =how= it was weighed. I know that Jayco's yellow sticker gives an actual weight with 1 battery and full propane, then states net cargo capacity and weight for a full fresh water tank. (scratching head)

Not me, GVW of my 5er is 20,000, empty 15875#.."figuring" I'm loaded to about 17,000#, but will know better when I go across the scales .Doubt I'd ever hit 19K
Cummins12V98 said he had a "GVW of 17,500" but when he traded it in it's weight was north of 20k. To me, that means he was towing 2,500 lbs over it's rated GVW, or the 17,500 was his factory-scaled dry weight, specific to his FW, and his actual GVW was much higher. :h

The MS 36SB3 had a GVW of 17,500# and I did upgrade the tires, wheels and studs to GY "H" and 17.5" Alcoa's. My Combined weight was 29K before trading so if you subtract the truck, us, hitch and tool box I am sure it was close to 20K.
When you full time it's easy to add a LOT of weight!!!
Another person just mentioned their mS shipped weight and shipped pin weight but it sounds like they have no idea what their RV actually weighs. No different than a lot of RVer's.
