dual pane windows are ok if you feel you need them. We are always in moderate climates not to hot, not to cold. We have never had water running down walls, fogging on inside except when wife was cooking inside with not enough ventilation. If we felt Dual panes were necessary we would have them. They do have a small noise factor.
