These drivers don' t make me angry – they make me sad and scared at the same time. It's not only their lives on the line but the ones of the family in the car coming the other direction.
I see it daily - inattentive driving, speeding, recklessness, improperly maintained equipment, you name it. In just the past week two accidents come to mind where traffic was delayed for hours and miles. One incident had no/minor injuries. The other left two dead and another in a fight for life.
We all need to remember (myself included) that we're driving a lethal weapon down the road. And we're each responsible for it. I think we would all agree that leaving a weapon on the kitchen table is bad. Yet we seem to think nothing of blasting down the nation's roadways at more than 30 over the limit, etc.
