Durable TH?

Looking to purchase a new to me TH. My question is, which TH can handle off-road driving, I've heard certain frames can crack. Would like to be able to fit a jeep in the garage. 5th wheel/GN is preferred. Weight isn't an issue, just looking for something that will be more durable, we have a Ram 5500 truck.

Also are full sheet aluminum roofs better durability in the long run?

Brands I've considered FR Work&Play, ATC, Sundowner.

    ATC has a video where they drove a 7klb fork lift on the ramp. I think rated for 4klbs.

    You will need a trailer like that to load a Jeep in however they are not the best for “offroad” use as they typically sit much lower.

    Those are all built like a cargo trailer, not an RV, which means they are built to handle a lot of weight (and miles) unlike the typical RV frame.

    If you're loading a jeep ask for ramp ratings. Not sure a regular toy hauler ramp can handle a full size jeep, not to mention the weight capacity/loading for that heavy of a toy. I've read about a few hauling Samuauris V8 buggies, etc. but they're pretty light in comparison

    Curious what issues you've had? I looked at a tornado damaged 222. It was tipped at a 45* angle against another trailer while it was new on a dealers lot. I have a Jayco TT but really not that impressed with the brand.

    Where I was kind of going. Dont know many ramp doors that will support a Jeep.

    If you want quality gooseneck look at Sundowner toy haulers. Very well built although quite a bit more simple than the other RV mfg’s who put a bunch of fancy features in their TH’s.
