Ours crapped out also in our 2010, Jensen I believe.
It's a shallow unit but without the correct replacement we won't get the three sets of speakers, two inside and one outside.
I picked up a cheap Bluray and it works well with the TV but I like to run the sound through the speakers for movies but I tried to convert sound back to analog and it only works with CD music but not blurays so I might have to upgrade and get the HDMI.
I looked for quite a while but have not pulled the trigger on a replacement mostly because of the reviews and the desire to have HDMI inputs.
