From a styling point of view, I'm still a GM guy regarding current crop of 1 tons, and 23k towing capacity is more than enough for my planned rig, but I'd still like to know why it's ~7k lbs less than the competition when power is basically equal.
I have an '03 Duramax that I still use. The difference between it and my Ford is unbelievable. Whether you drive a GM Ram or Ford the new trucks are all extremely capable. If you like the styling of the GM best I would recommend you buy a GM.
