Electric step motor for Kwikee 23 series steps

My motor on my 1995 Kwikee steps went bad,tried finding a motor only from RV dealers and from Lippert and Winnabago. They told me no parts available and that I would have to replace with new steps or a updated motor and drive. Searched the net and some guy said a window motor for driver side front or right rear that fit a 1986-1995 Tarus Ford would work. Got on Rockauto.com they had one for $18.86 plus shipping. Got it today and it was the exact same motor as the old one,put it on and the only change was in the plug in had to change that. Steps work great and I'm a happy camper. If you have steps that are older than 2000 this motor may work on your steps also, just some info passed along
