I have electric valves on my 08 GrandJunction and have "0" issues with them, they hold and open as required.
I have now had the trailer 7 years, still have the originals with no problems, ensure they are installed straight up or as much as possible, this is a big reason they fail.
And I wonder how many people that speak negative of them ever had them or have them now, curious
